Swasti Cashew Industries Private Limited is a Mangaluru-based company entering its Platinum Jubilee year — 75 years since incorporation in 1952, and part of a family commercial tradition stretching back to the 1890s.
We operate two complementary lines of business from our compound at Konchady, Mangaluru: a commercial warehousing facility serving diverse tenant needs, and a CNSL operation built on seven decades of accumulated expertise in Cashew Nut Shell Liquid — one of the most versatile industrial raw materials derived from the cashew crop.
Our relationships span the cashew industry across India and internationally, built over three generations of direct operational involvement, industry association leadership, and sustained presence in Mangaluru's cashew community.
The Swasti Cashew Industries Compound at Konchady, Mangaluru, operates as a modern commercial warehousing facility. Our warehouse serves tenants across multiple product categories — including plywood, FMCG products, edible oils, and consumer goods — providing secure, well-managed storage in a strategically located compound off Airport Road. Warehousing capacity has grown significantly since 2014, reflecting the trust our tenants place in the Swasti name and the quality of our facilities.
Cashew Nut Shell Liquid has been central to Swasti's identity since the 1940s, when Shri Sujir Damodar Nayak — a trained chemist — began extracting and exporting it from his Mangaluru factory. At Swasti's peak in the late 1950s, 400 to 500 tons of CNSL were shipped annually to industrial buyers in New York, London and Genoa.
That depth of experience — in CNSL quality, market dynamics, industrial applications and supply chain — is what Swasti brings to the market today. We work with buyers, processors and industry participants who value expertise built over generations, not months.
We remain connected to the cashew kernel trade and to the broader cashew ecosystem in Karnataka and Kerala — through market knowledge, industry relationships, and the family's continuous involvement in cashew affairs since 1941.
